Growing up my family dog Chief was my best friend. In addition to caring for him, I convinced my parents to let me have gerbils, fish, turtles, hermit crabs, geckos and frogs. I was totally enthralled with pets. Although I was young, I understood the special bond that people have with their pets and I knew I wanted to someday have a career dedicated to caring for them.

My professional journey working with family pets began with a position in a municipal animal control facility and then segwayed into veterinary medicine. After six years of experience as a veterinary assistant and obtaining my certification as a Fear Free veterinary professional, I could no longer ignore the increasing demand from pet owners for knowledgeable and professional in-home pet care services. Recognizing this need and having my husband Tyler’s full support, I made the decision to leave my position as a veterinary assistant to start a pet sitting business.

Launching the business was an exciting endeavor. I set out to create an encompassing range of in-home pet care and dog walking services that would not only meet pets’ physical needs, but provide them enrichment and nurture their emotional well-being. In addition to providing top-notch pet care, my years of professional experience also taught me the importance of building trust and offering pet owners peace of mind.
Excitingly, the rapid growth experienced in the initial years led to Tyler transitioning to a full-time role supporting the business. This strengthened our ability to provide dependable and reliable care for our clients' beloved pets.
Our pet sitting business has not only allowed me to pursue my passion but has also given my husband and I the opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of so many pets and their owners. The joy that the pets bring us and the trust and appreciation we receive from our clients is incredibly fulfilling and continuously reinforces our belief that this is the path we were meant to follow.
Tyler and I got married in August 2023 and together we are proud "dog parents" to our spunky rescue pup, Lenny. When we are not tending to our clients' pets, we enjoy firing up the barbecue pit and spending time outdoors. Tyler, a passionate 20-year guitarist who enjoys writing songs, and I, who find enjoyment in documentaries and history books, make the most of our downtime!
